This mp3 player is good |
This is really good for the price. It only has 128MB which holds about 30-40 songs but what do you expect for £95! It looks great, it sounds good, it can be used to transfer data like a data stick. The only reason I wouldnt buy this is if you want more than 128MB of memory. If you just want an MP3 player for sports, etc. buy this one. I bought mine for my snowboarding holiday and it was exactly what I wanted.

Rise of the Portables! |
All you have to consider when buying an MP3 player is how much capacity you need. Do you need really need 40GB of space for just walking around campus or town? 30 songs is more than enough. Dont worry about transfer time, it takes no more than 3 seonds for 6MB song. The player itself is fantastic for such a small size, the ingenious scroll wheel keeps the buttons on the player to a minimum, all other functions are on screen. Have yet to use the *interesting* wrist band or voice recorder, but its just what i was looking for. Superb, i recommend one for anyone with a computer! The only minor niggle is you actually plug the player into your USB port, which is a but of hassle if its on the back of your PC, like mine. Worth getting an extra USB cable.

having wanted a personal audio system that had the sound quality of a cd player but wasnt the size of one & the lack of skipping errors that a walkman has, then an MP3 player was the answer. chosing the creative labs muvo 128mb came down to a couple of reasons; 1- creative have been in the pc sound business for a quiet a while & must be doing something right & 2- i didnt want the hassle of software that may or may not work on my PC. ease of use is excellent(just drag & drop on screen. sound is excellent (at the end of the day its a personal sound system not a bose speaker surround sound hi fi thingy!!)the one glitch was my Dell dimension Pc with its front panel USB ports wasnt designed with this device in mind so i had to get an extension cable (£4) to allow an easy plug in. other than that no probs as i used a pc with win98 to try it out while i waited for the cable for my XP machine.
